The City of Stockton has an agreement with San Joaquin County to provide all of the
water that is necessary for anticipated future development of the airport. Water is
` currently available to the airport terminal and fixed base operator plots and to the Air
Metro Industrial Park on the southwestern portion of the airport. Water for Farmington
Fresh operations on the northeasterly part of the airport is provided by its own private
well. Major water mains are stubbed to Arch Airport Road on the north side of the
airport, and the commercial/industrial area and future terminal area on the north side of
the airport will be served from these facilities.
The domestic water demand for the airport development as envisioned in the Airport
Layout Plan has been calculated for four different project developments considered in this
study. This domestic water demand is summarized in Table No. 8-3.
3 . . . ..''
DOMEST>CC.WATERDEMAND
Domestic Watet emancl gpd x..lOOQ
20P5 2115 2015
..:'
Proprjsed Proposed Reduced
Land XJse :; Project Project Developirient Cumulative `..
Phase l Phase 2: :< A.l.ternative
Interchange Interchange
Commercial/Retail 110.0 130.0 132.0 130.0
Industrial Office 108.0 135.0 21.6 171.0
Research Development
Industrial Warehouse 256.0 275.2 35.2 307.2
t Air Metro Industrial Park 140.4 140.4 140.4 140.4
Farmington Fresh 118.8 118.8 1.18.8 118.8
f k
I
Enplaned Passengers 27.4 27.4 ;;13.7 54.8
} Visitors 21.9 21.9 11.0 43.8
_ Airport Employees 4.8 4.8 3.6 9.6
Hotel 6.0 6.0 6.0 8.0
I
Landscaping 8.0 1 8.0 1 4.0 1 10.0
TOTAL 801.3 867.5 486.3 993.6
Fire Demand - 2,500 gpm minimum
The anticipated development for each of the four scenarios considered is presented in:z-
Chapter 4, Forecasts and Aviation Demands.
