Sheet No. 7 - Airport Access Plan <br /> The design of the freeways, major arterial roads and secondary roads has been in <br /> cooperation with Caltrans, City of Stockton, and County of San Joaquin. The details of <br /> proposed development are shown on the Traffic Study included separately as Appendix <br /> A to this report. A major new interchange at Arch Road and State Route 99 is planned. <br /> Direct access from State Route 99 to the new terminal is provided in this interchange. <br /> Arch Airport Road is proposed to be widened to six to eight lanes and extended to <br /> Interstate 5. Airport Way will be widened and a frontage road will be constructed from <br /> the Arch-Airport/State Route 99 interchange to the French Camp Interchange on State <br /> Route 99. All of these facilities will provide good access to the airport from both State <br /> Route 99 and Interstate 5 and from the City of Stockton. Direct access is provided off <br /> from State Route 99 and/or Arch Airport Road to the future airline terminal, air cargo <br /> facilities and the commercial/industrial areas on the airport. <br /> i Sheet No. 8 - Approach and Runway Protection_ Zone Plan and Profile <br /> I <br /> ' This plan depicts the critical surfaces surrounding the runways as set forth in FAR Part <br /> 77. <br /> Sheet No. 9 - Safety Zone Plan <br /> The State of California Department of Transportation, Division of Aeronautics, has <br /> prepared an Airport Land Use Planning Handbook dated December 1993. In this <br /> handbook they have made recommendations for the safety zone plan.
