Noise <br /> I An FAR part 150 Airport Noise Compatibility Program Study was conducted for the San <br /> th <br /> Joaquin County Department of Aviation by McClintock, Becker & Ass entitled,tes, Fin e <br /> results of their study were presented in their report dated Janpuary ort Noise Compatibility <br /> al <br /> Report, Stockton Metropolitan Airport, FAR Part 150, <br /> Program. In this study they presented noise contours for the forecast traffic. The report <br /> was accepted as the noise element for the Stockton Metropolitan Airport. <br /> In 1997 an updated noise model was prepared <br /> by <br /> Mr. &D AviationThe <br /> ichael R. McClintock who <br /> results of <br /> prepared the original report but is now associatedi operations the noise h the noise- <br /> their studies show that due to the decrease in military op <br /> sensitive areas decreased, resulting in a significant decrease in noise in the area and <br /> number of single family residential units within the 60 to 70 dB ,CNEL noise contour. <br /> With the reduced level of military training operations, even in the year 2015 and with the <br /> a -maximum..forecast increase in airline operations, the overall noise-irnpact.is reduced and <br /> no--,currently existing,non-compatible land uses would be located within the`60 dB 1 CN <br /> and higher-noise contours. <br /> � . <br /> F y, <br /> Compatible Land Use <br /> The existing and 'proposed uses of land surrounding the-!'.airport :consist of <br /> ammerciallindustrial, warehouses, .and agricultural uses, which:-;are compatible .with <br /> „airportoperations. <br /> C. Social Impacts - Traff c, etc. <br /> Traffic will be impacted, particularly by the forecast increase in-airline traffic and the <br /> developmen# of the comm ercial/industrial land.
