LI
 KLEiNFEiDER
We understand that design of the proposed ministry center is currently underway and
final details are not available as of this writing. On a preliminary basis, we anticipate
that the anticipated septic/leach field system will serve approximately 5 full-time
employees plus 150 people who are expected to attend a daily 1- to 2-hour meeting.
No kitchen facilities are planned, and each of the meeting rooms will have a small sink.
' Three restrooms for women and two for men are planned. -Proposed construction will
also include restroom additions to the existing church facility on the adjacent parcel.
The estimated number of users is as follows:
• Saturday evening and two Sunday morning masses — 225 per service
e 2 times a week classes — 120
• 3 times a week meetings in Rose Liel Hall — 30
03 times a month funeral — 200
• 1 time a month wedding -- 200
i
According to the above information provided by WMB, approximately 1,225 people
could use the church facility on the adjacent parcel each week for approximately 1 to 2
hours. Additional details regarding the proposed construction are not known to our
firm at this time. A map showing the approximate location of the proposed
I septic/leach field system is presented on Plate 2.
2. PRESENT AND PAST USE
The northern portion of the site is currently the existing St. Michael's Church. The
proposed location of the future building and septic system is currently an alfalfa field.
According to our discussions with church staff, the site has always been an open,
? vacant field except for occasional agricultural use.
3. SEPTIC PERMITS AND PERFORMANCE
SJCEHD files
were searched to identify septic permits at parcels in the project vicinity.
There were two permits on file for the subject parcel. Six permits were reviewed for
parcels located adjacent to or near the subject property. These permits were for new
installations and repairs/additions to existing septic systems. The permitted sewage
disposal systems were for conventional septic/leach field systems with 25-foot deep
seepage pits. A summary of the permit information is presented on Plate 3, and
copies of the permits are attached.
lj
J~1
56915.GO11ST05RI123 August 30,2005
2005 Kleinfelder,Inc.
