Attach additional sheets if necessary.) <br /> The City of Stoc.kton's Austin Road Landfill, occupying approximately 182.5 acres, is located <br /> outside of the city limits of the City of Stockton and is surrounded by unincorporated County of <br /> San Joaquin territory. The non-contiguous parcels containing the landfill and the expansion <br /> area were annexed by the City from San Joaquin County. The City of Stockton developed an <br /> expansion plan for 219 acres to the north and southeast of the existing landfill operation, I <br /> obtained the necessary permits, and completed and certified and Environmental Impact Report <br /> on the proposed expansion on September 6, 1994. However, the landfill expansion was never <br /> implemented. <br />
