A water quality assessment is also required by the Board due to the proposed <br /> r relocation of Little Johns Creek,and has been prepared by the City of Stockton and accepted by the Water <br /> Board. <br /> State Reclamation Board- The State Reclamation Board issues the encroachment permit for the creek <br /> t relocation. The Reclamation Board has indicated that proposed mitigation measures are acceptable,but <br /> has not yet issued an encroachment permit,pending final design for the creek relocation. <br /> California Department of Fish and Game(CDFG)-A formal consultation process must be initiated with <br /> CDFG for projects the State lead agency has determined may or will have a significant effect on State <br /> listed species. This consultation process has occurred. A proponent of a project that would substantially <br /> divert the course of a natural stream must enter.into a Streambed Alteration Agreement with CDFG. The <br /> CDFG has indicated that proposed mitigation measures are acceptable,but also has not yet issued a <br /> Streambed Alteration Agreement,pending final design for the creek relocation. <br /> y San Joaquin Countyl_ood Control and Water Conservation District=Flood Control oversees the design <br /> of the creek relocation and will maintain the flood control easement of the relocated creek.
