Current Status: Secondary containment is provided for all diesel fuel storage locations. The secondary containment consists of double walled tanks and concrete treated containment structures. p. 62 (1-11.3) Proposed as Part of the Project: As a participant in the SJCMSCP, Forward will incorporate SJCMSCP guidelines developed to minimize effects of rodenticides to the garter snake, the brush rabbit and the Swainson's Hawk (Appendix A of the SJCMSCP). Current Status: Forward is not currently using rodenticides at the site. If rodenticides will be used, Forward will review the SJCMSCP guidelines (Appendix A) regarding rodenticides and will contract with a qualified biologist, if necessary,to evaluate rodenticide use at the site. Identified in EIR: Rodenticides and methods of application used at the landfill shall be reviewed by a qualified biologist to determine if they reflect the most effective and safe methods for controlling rodents. That biologist shall make recommendations for improvement if needed. Current Status: Forward is not currently using rodenticides at the site.
