Sample locations are shown on the attached map Appendix.
B. The sampling procedures are also presented in Appendix B.
The samples were analyzed by A&L Western Agricultural Laboratories, Inc. for Kjeldahl Nitrogen,
Ammonia Nitrogen, Nitrate Nitrogen, Total Phosphorus, and for Total Potassium. .
FCopies of the laboratory results are attached Appendix B.
 f
Groundwater Depth and Gradient
The depth to groundwater in the area is monitored by the Department of Water Resources (DWR).
Based upon data available from DWR, the closest DWR wells exist to the north, northeast, and
east. Groundwater was encountered in. these neighboring wells approximately 70-90 ft.below the
ground surface. Copies of the groundwater measurements in these wells and in other wells in the
area are presented in Appendix B.
4
The groundwater elevations as measured at four different dates are presented in four maps in
Appendix B. Based on these maps, the groundwater flow direction is toward northwest.
r f
Refer to page 22 for Endnotes and Reference Sources
®Western Dairy Design Associates,Inc.2003
Page 18
i
