She <br /> indicated to the best of her knowledge there has not been a gasoline station, motor repair <br /> facility, commercial printing facility, dry cleaners, photo developing laboratory, junkyard, landfill, <br /> waste treatment, storage, disposal, processing or recycling facility located on the property or <br /> the adjacent properties. She did not have any knowledge of environmental liens or government <br /> notifications relating to past or recurrent violations of environmental laws and indicated she did <br /> not have knowledge of past or current existence of hazardous substances or petroleum <br /> products with respect to the property of any facility located on the property. <br /> Ms. Katzakian did not indicate whether there were transformers or capacitors on the property <br /> known to contain PCBs (polychlorinated biphenyls) or which may have been manufactured <br /> before 1980 and whose PCB content is unknown. Ms. Katzakian indicated water is provided to <br /> the property by a well. She indicated waste water disposal is provided via an onsite septic <br /> system. She also indicated wastewaters, liquid wastes and solid wastes are not generated on <br /> the property. She indicated farming activities only may generate air pollutants on the property. <br /> Ms. Katzakian indicated there is one residence under construction on the property. She <br /> indicated the residence will be heated and cooled with central heat and air and a wood burning <br /> fireplace. She described the property as approximately forty-eight acres of Eureka walnuts. To <br /> the best of her knowledge, Ms. Katzakian indicated there has not been stains or foul odors <br /> located or emitting from any flooring, drains or walls located within the facilities that may be <br /> from substances other than water or are emitting foul odors. <br /> Ms. Katzakian indicated to the best of her knowledge there are no storage tanks and other <br /> chemical storage on the property currently or in the past. She was not aware of any spills, <br /> leaks or chemical releases on the property. She indicated the property has not been used for <br /> industrial purposes. She indicated the property is and has been used for agricultural purposes. <br /> She indicated pesticides have been applied to the property but have not been mixed, rinsed, <br /> disposed or formulated on the property. She was not aware of soil or groundwater analysis <br /> performed on the property to detect chemicals. <br /> 3.0 PAST AND CURRENT SOURCES OF CONTAMINATION <br /> 3.1 Research Methods <br /> NOA employs a standard practice for review of database information. On a street map showing <br /> the location of the subject property, a circle is drawn one-quarter mile out from the property <br /> boundaries, and street maps or web-based mapping services are then used to determine <br /> address ranges for all streets within the quarter mile.
