Other requirements may also apply. These requirements cannot be <br /> modified. <br /> -A. The Surface and Subsurface Contamination Report dated September 26, 2003, was deemed <br /> incomplete. Prior to Parcel Map approval, an addendum shall be submitted to the <br /> Environmental Health Department and approved by the Environmental Health Department. <br /> 'B. The Environmental Health Department requires a soil suitability study indicating that the area <br /> is suitable for septic tank usage. This must be performed prior to recordation of Parcel Map <br /> and/or Certificate of Compliance (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9- <br /> 1105.2(d)). A review fee of$186.00 must be paid at time of submittal to the Environmental <br /> Health Department. <br /> The sewage disposal system shall comply with the on site sewage standards of San Joaquin <br /> County prior to approval. A percolation test that meets absorption rates of the manual of <br /> septic tank practice or E.P.A. Design Manual for onsite wastewater treatment and disposal <br /> system is required for each parcel. A permit fee of$93.00 per percolation hole is required. <br /> C. The existing private water wells shall be tested for the chemical Dibromochloropropane <br /> (DBCP) and nitrates prior to recordation of the Parcel Map and/or Certificate of Compliance. <br /> Samples are to be taken and analyzed by a State-approved laboratory(San Joaquin County <br /> Development Title, Section 9-1115.7). <br /> D. Prior to recordation of the Parcel Map and/or Certificate of Compliance, the well must be <br /> f repaired under permit and inspection by the Environmental Health Department (San Joaquin <br /> County Development Title, Section 9-1115.4(e)) as follows: <br /> i Agricultural discharge pipes utilizing an air gap for back-flow prevention shall maintain <br /> an air gap equal to the size of the discharge pipe, but not less than 6 inches. The <br /> discharge pipe shall also have two '/4 inch slits extending 6 inches from the bottom of the <br /> pipe and opposite each other or a back-flow device approved by San Joaquin County must <br /> I be installed. <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br />
