SOIL SUITABILITY STUDY <br /> Introduction <br /> Live Oak GeoEnvironmental, Inc (Live Oak) was contracted by,,Emie Pombo to conduct <br /> a Soil Suitability Study for his property located at 26310 South-Banta'' Road, Tracy, <br /> California (Plate 1). <br /> The Soil Suitability Study was conducted to determine whether the soils are suitable for <br /> use with a septic system. The study was performed according to the requirements of <br /> Section 9-1105.2(d) of the San Joaquin County Development code. <br /> The formatting of the report has been designed to follow the recommendations of the <br /> San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department as described in its Soil <br /> Suitability Study Requirements Checklist. <br /> Proposed Development <br /> The proposed project is a mi orubdivision divide the property into three51-alre <br /> parcels and X43.51- rbsig ander(Plate 2)�iVo changes in use o e Site <br /> are proposed. <br /> Site Description <br /> The Site, Assessor's Parcel Number (APN) 252-150-10 is approximately 174 acres_in <br /> size. The County project application number is PA-1200�35: The Site consists of open (� • ) <br /> agricultural land with a hay barn. Railroad tracks tsoLfid--the Site on its northem and <br /> southwestern sides. A recent aerial photograph of the Site is included as Plate <br /> The elevation of the Site, according to a United States Geological Survey topographic \ <br /> map, is approximately 60 to 75 feet above mean sea level (Plate 4). The Site <br /> topography is relatively flat, with a slight grade down to the northeast. <br /> The San Joaquin County Community Development Department web site states that the <br /> Site is zoned AG-40, general agriculture with a minimum parcel size of 40 acres. This <br /> zoning designation "is established to preserve agricultural lands for the continuation of <br /> commercial agricultural enterprises." <br /> Past Uses of the Site <br /> Based on information reviewed for & Subsurface._, urination Report <br /> (Live Oak, 2011), the Site has been agncuRural d since 1931 or arlier.
