Existing and Proposed Septic Tank Usage <br /> Existing Septic System <br /> No septic systems are located on the Site. <br /> Proposed Septic System <br /> No new construction is planned for the Site at this time. However, County regulations <br /> permit a new residence to be placed on each parcel at some point in the future. Any <br /> new residence would utilize a new septic system. <br /> On-Site Septic Permit History <br /> (No rmits related to septic systems for the Site were identified at the San Joaquin <br /> Co ty Environmental Health Department. <br /> Existing Septic Tank Usage in the Vicinity <br /> To estimate the existing septic system usage in the area, our office counted septic <br /> systems that exist within approximately four square mile surrounding the property. Air <br /> photo imagery from GoogleEarthT" was used: -Each building cluster on the photo was <br /> assumed to have one septic system. Using this method, it is estimated that eight or <br /> more septic systems per square mile are present in the immediate vicinity of the Site. <br /> The general area consists of mixed agricultural and industrial land. Agricultural land is <br /> present to the north, south, and east of the Site. Industrial properties, including the <br /> Tracy Defense Depot, are located to the west. <br /> Septic Permit History in the Vicinity <br /> Based on a recent review of septic permits on file at the San Joaquin County <br /> Environmental-Health Department for nearby properties, the septic systems in the area <br /> utilize leach lines or filter beds. The septic permits can be found in Appendix 4 of this <br /> report. <br /> Expected On-Site Maximum Septic Tank Usage <br /> Maximum xpected septic usage on the Site would be from any future residential uses. <br /> No cons uction is planned at this time.
