7.2 Environmental Health Department Databases
Live Oak reviewed the EHD's Underground Storage Tank Site Mitigation List, dated July
21 , 2011, for surrounding facilities of concern. The following listed facilities were
identified within one-quarter mile of the Site:
• Raspo Property, 26457 S. Banta Rd., status of "environmental assessment."
This facility is co-located with the Chevron, Lyoth--Offsite case discussed above.
Records on file at the EHD for this facility were reviewed. According to a
Preliminary Site Assessment Phase 11 Report (Advanced GeoEnvironmental,
2000), soil borings were collected in the vicinity of former underground and
above-ground storage tanks at this facility. No petroleum hydrocarbons or volatile
aromatic compounds were detected.
• Lyoth Loading, 26501 S. Banta Rd., RWQCB site. This facility has been
discussed above.
• All Pure Chemical, 26700 S. Banta Rd., RWQCB site. This facility has been
discussed above.
• DDRW Tracy (Defense Distribution San Joaquin), 25700 S. Chrisman Rd.,
USEPA site project. This facility has been discussed above.
Live Oak reviewed the EHD's Water Well Data Table dated March 10, 2009 for nearby
addresses that have been tested for nitrate and dibromochloropropane (DBCP). Five
nearby wells were identified at addresses located within approximately one-quarter mile
of the Site. Four of the wells had been tested for DBCP; it was not detected in any of
the wells. Four of the wells had been tested for nitrate as NO3; it was detected in all
four wells at concentrations of 26 to 38 parts per million (ppm). The Maximum
Contaminant Level (MCL) set by the US EPA for nitrate as NO3 is 45 ppm.
7.3 Agricultural Commissioner's Records
The San Joaquin County Agricultural Commissioner's Office was contacted regarding
agricultural use of the site. According to records on file at that agency, the Site was
used for alfalfa from 2008 through 2011, then for walnuts from 2012 through the
present. No violations were on file. A number of agricultural chemicals were reportedly
applied to the Site during this time; a summary of the chemicals applied is included in
Appendix 5.
7.4 Department of Oil. Gas, and Geothermal Resources Maps
The California Department of Oil, Gas, and Geothermal Resources (DOGGR) Online
Mapping System (DOMS) was queried on March 12, 2013 for mapped oil or gas wells
within one-quarter mile of the subject Site. No wells were identified within the search
area.
LOGE 1303 Page 8
