Based on the results, the <br /> installation was added to the National <br /> Priorities List in 1990. DDJC-Tracy <br /> currently pumps and treats groundwater <br /> contaminated with volatile organic <br /> compounds, metals, and pesticides. The <br /> treated water is then discharged back to <br /> groundwater by injection and <br /> percolation" (GeoTracker, 2012). The <br /> Second Five-Year Review Report (URS, <br /> 2012) presents evidence of a <br /> preferential hydrogeologic pathway to <br /> the northeast from the DDJC-Tracy <br /> facility (away from the Site of the current <br /> investigation). Based on maps provided <br /> with this report, it appears that the "hot <br /> spots" of the groundwater contaminant <br /> plumes from the DDJC-Tracy facility are <br /> located north of the Site of the current <br /> investigation.
