Ground disturbing activities to
the site prior to completion and/or approval of required environmental documents may affect
Caltrans' ability to issue a permit for the project. If engineering plans or drawings will be part of your
permit application, they should be prepared in both metric and standard units.
d. Caltrans requires the following in order to review and issue a potential Encroachment Permit for this
proposal:
(1) Site plans clearly delineating the proposed project's distance from the centerline of State Route
88,to include Caltrans' right-of-way.
(2) Parcel map displaying existing encroachments to and across from the proposed project.
(3) A complete set of drainage plans to verify that storm and non-storm water discharges will remain
on the site and not affect State Route 88.
(4) Caltrans has commercial standards for driveways serving a commercial use with direct access
onto state highways. Any new driveways as well as existing driveways shall be built or upgraded
to current state standards. Where applicable, any sidewalks, curb and gutter, or ramp shall be in
compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act. The standards are available from Marcel
De La Cruz at(209) 948-3656.
t
F PA-02-2861McParland
.
