It is the intention of this Work Plan to
Cpropose techniques and methodology that will offer site specific data in order to better
qualify the risk at this site.
C To further investigate the extent of gasoline range petroleum hydrocarbons in the
groundwater, Geological Technics Inc. proposes to:
• drill soil borings and collect soil and discrete groundwater samples from each,
• test selected soil samples for geotechnical parameters to evaluate fate and transport
C considerations,
• install one groundwater monitoring well screened across the water table in the down
C gradient direction,
• install one deeper screened groundwater monitoring well in an effort to complete lateral
and vertical extent of groundwater contamination,
• initiate routine groundwater monitoring that will include measuring additional parameters
to evaluate the plume stability,
C • perform a comprehensive well/receptor survey to include identifying all wells in a 2,000
ft radius and evaluating their construction, use, and pumping rates; with regards to the
C&B domestic well, it will be sampled, sounded for depth to water/total depth, and its
construction, condition, use and contaminant load (if any)will be evaluated.
r The results of the investigation to date are summarized in this document,(Summary Tables-
Appendix A). All of the data will be integrated and reported together once this proposed
scope of work has been completed.
C
C t`'
