One boring was drilled to a depth of 25 feet, one <br /> boring was to a depth of eight and a half feet and the other boring was drilled to a depth of three <br /> feet. The soil borings were used later for percolation test holes;'the locations of the borings are <br /> Findicated in Plate 1. <br /> 5.2 --Soil Boring Dimensions <br /> The soil borings were 25, eight and a"half or three feet deep, as noted above, and were four inches in <br /> diameter. 65 <br /> 5.3 -.Soil Lithology Observed <br /> Generally, the soil encountered in the boring is.sim.ilar to the soils reported by the San Joaquin <br /> County Soil Survey for the area (USDA, 1992).
