The project site is located on the southeast corner of Bill Road and State <br /> Route 99, south of Galt. <br /> We have, circulated'copies of the plans and supporting documentation to our functlonai <br /> units`for review: Please include the following comments as conditions of approval'for the <br /> proj ect: <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL <br /> • Caltrans appreciates the opportunity to review this document and looks forward to <br /> reviewing the draft Initial Study. After reviewing the available information, please <br /> consider the direct and indirect impacts to State Route 99.within your document. These <br /> impacts could range from the removal of vegetation, change of water flows, to the`new <br /> light sourcing from the building or, if very bright, reflections from'a lit object. Please <br /> also include the cumulative impacts of your project within your Initial Study. <br /> If an encroachment is expected, the CEQA project description should include a brief <br /> summary of the, anticipated work within the State right of way. The following <br /> information is to assist the applicant in the permit process. The approved <br /> Environmental Document for the project must be included in the permit application. <br /> •. THe rase of California State. highways .for other than normal transportation purposes <br /> may require written' authorization 'from Caltrans in the form of an encroachment <br /> permit. The .application must include the environmental document prepared for the <br /> project that addresses Caltrans right of way. At a minimum, documentation of cultural, <br /> biological, and hazardous waste studies within Caltrans right of way is required. <br /> "Caltrans improves mobility across California" <br />
