Surface&Subsurface Contamination Report Page 22 <br /> Sandhu Farms <br /> Project No. 655.1 <br /> August 15, 2012 <br /> The trailer house has been heavily damaged by apparent vandalism and does <br /> not appear to have been used in some time. <br /> Exterior Areas <br /> Three irrigation pumping stations situated near the major irrigation pipes pump <br /> water out of irrigation lines, force it through a battery of sand filters, and then <br /> mix it with an additive (presumably fertilizer) prior to distribution to the <br /> orchards through drip lines. <br /> At the southwest corner of the Property (lot 5), irrigation water well is stripped <br /> and idle. It is generally not needed but is kept for emergency use in the event of <br /> an interruption in canal water flow. <br /> Adjacent Properties <br /> Adjacent Properties North <br /> A gravel access road marks the north line of the Property. On the opposite side <br /> is more agricultural Property including a farm building complex. <br /> Adjacent Properties South <br /> A Banta-Carbona irrigation ditch is near the south line of the Property, although <br /> it is actually slightly within the Property boundary. Across the canal is <br /> additional agricultural land. <br /> Adjacent Properties East <br /> The freeway I-5 bounds the Property.
