I <br /> Geological Technics Inc. <br /> off <br /> 2T417ZiverRgad <br /> Modesto,ca(rfomia 95351 <br /> 9 <br /> (2 09)538-6424/Fax#538-5852 <br /> Report <br /> Monitoring Well Installation & Groundwater Monitoring <br /> C & B Equipment <br /> 7474 West 11th Street <br /> 4 : Tracy, California <br /> r.- Project No. 336.2 <br /> k: November 13, 1995 <br /> EXECUTIVE SUMMARY <br /> On behalf of C & B Equipment, Geological Technics Inc. has conducted a <br /> preliminary subsurface investigation in order to characterize the lateral and vertical <br /> extent of soil and groundwater impacted by petroleum hydrocarbons sourced from a <br /> former leaking underground storage tank. This investigation was initiated in <br /> response to the San Joaquin County Public Health Services Environmental Health <br /> Division (SJCPHSEHD) directive that C & B Equipment further investigate the <br /> extent of contamination at this site. <br /> On July 25, 1995, Geological Technics Inc. personnel supervised and directed a <br /> j subsurface investigation at the C & B site located at 7474 West 11th Street in Tracy <br /> California. A total of three groundwater monitoring wells were installed and two <br /> rounds of groundwater samples were collected. <br /> Laboratory data generated during this investigation show that groundwater to the <br /> north and east of the former UST excavation contain detectable concentrations of <br /> gasoline range petroleum hydrocarbons. The plume appears to be defined in the <br /> 1 southwest direction. <br /> i' <br />
