This investigation was initiated in <br /> response to the San Joaquin County Public Health Services Environmental Health <br /> Division (SJCPHSEHD) directive that C & B Equipment further investigate the <br /> extent of contamination at this site. <br /> On July 25, 1995, Geological Technics Inc. personnel supervised and directed a <br /> j subsurface investigation at the C & B site located at 7474 West 11th Street in Tracy <br /> California. A total of three groundwater monitoring wells were installed and two <br /> rounds of groundwater samples were collected. <br /> Laboratory data generated during this investigation show that groundwater to the <br /> north and east of the former UST excavation contain detectable concentrations of <br /> gasoline range petroleum hydrocarbons. The plume appears to be defined in the <br /> 1 southwest direction. <br /> i' <br />
