Mr. Ballanti has more than 24 ears experience as a
Y p
Fconsultant in the areas of air. pollution meteorology, air pollution impact analysis, air
. quality planning, meteorological and climatic analysis and physical modeling in wind
tunnels. Mr. Ballanti has M.S and B. S. degrees in meteorology from San Jose State
University.
Since establishing his own practice in 1977, Mr. Ballanti has prepared air quality, climate
and wind impact analyses on more than 700 projects in California, Hawaii, Oregon and
Ft the Caribbean. Prior to 1977, Mr. Ballanti was an air pollution meteorologist and project
manager at Environmental Impact Planning Corporation.
i
F Areas of expertise include meteorological and aerometric monitoring and data analysis, air
quality modeling on the local and regional scale, mobile and stationary source estimation
and impact evaluation, and the analysis of local, regional, indirect and direct impacts of
h projects on ambient air quality, human health, plants and materials. Mr. Ballanti has
directed meteorological and aerometric field programs. He has extensive experience in the
Farea.of air pollution simulation models for prediction of local and regional air quality.
Mr. Ballanti has undertaken air quality planning and impact analyses on several scales,
F1ranging from transportation projects, office and industrial parks, residential developments
and shopping centers to city or county general plans and specific plans. He has prepared
air p6llution permit applications on several proposed stationary air pollution sources, and
F1 is familiar with the permit and modeling requirements of local Air Pollution Control
Districts.
F1
F
F1x
F1
k
