He was a speaker on the <br /> [< . technical aspects of air quality planning on the county and city level at a <br /> CEQA Air Quality Workshop sponsored by the California Air Resources <br /> Board, Caltrans, the Bay Area Air Quality Management District and other <br /> F agencies and organizations. I <br /> Mr. Ballanti assisted Bechtel Corporation as an instructor for the Energy <br /> F11 Management Consulting and Training (EMCAT) program administered by <br /> U. S. 'Agency for International Development (U.S.A.I.D.). Mr. Ballanti <br /> participated as part of a multi-disciplinary team providing guidance on the <br /> Y preparation of Environmental Impact Assessments for hydroelectric and <br /> coal-fired thermal power projects. <br /> Fl. <br /> Mr. Ballanti was a member of the Technical Advisory Committee to the <br /> Association of Bay Area Governments and Bay Area Air Quality <br /> hManagement District during preparation of Improving Air Quality Through <br /> Local Plans and Programs and Designing Strategies for Encouraginq <br /> Alternatives to Auto Use Through Local„Development Review. <br /> -' Mr. Ballanti is a member of the American Meteorological Society and Air <br /> g Y <br /> and Waste Management Association, and the Association of <br /> Environmental Professionals. <br /> F; <br /> Mr. Ballanti has been. designated a Certified Consulting Meteorologist by <br /> F16 <br /> the American Meteorological Society, Certification No. 264. <br />
