BRANDT ROAD <br /> LOCKEFORD, CALIFORNIA <br /> OUR PROJECT NUMBER: NA177006 <br /> Our office was contracted by Mr. Larry Woods to conduct a Soil Suitability Nitrate Loading Study <br /> (SSNLS)for the property at 12023 E.Brandt Road, Lockeford,California. Our office was provided <br /> with a copy of documents associated with San Joaquin County Community (SJC) Development <br /> Department application No. PA-1600261 including an SJC Environmental Health Department <br /> SSNLS/Septic letter dated December 7, 2016, a site plan dated October 2016, and additional <br /> agency documents.. <br /> 1.0 SOIL SUITABILITY STUDY <br /> 1.1 Introduction and Development <br /> The Soil Suitability Study (SSS) was conducted to determine whether site soils are suitable for <br /> septic system usage. The study was performed according to the requirements of Section 9- <br /> 1105.2(d) of the San Joaquin County Development code. A major element of the field work <br /> included conducting percolation tests that meet absorption rates as specified by San Joaquin <br /> County, Public Health Services, Environmental Health Department(EHD). A review of published <br /> soil information, geologic maps, and groundwater information was also performed. <br /> 1.1.1 Site Description <br /> The site consists of an approximately 2.32 acre tract of land improved with an approximately 690 <br /> square foot(SF) barn at the northeastern comer of the site, an existing septic system located on / 1 <br /> the central eastern portion of the site, a groundwater well located west of the barn, and limited J <br /> landscaping. <br /> According to the San Joaquin County Community Development Department website <br /> (htto://www siaov org/commdev/ccLi-bin/cdyn exe?arp=neicihpresv&htm=zonedef), the site is <br /> zoned General Industrial (IG). <br /> According to the United States Geological Survey(USGS) Lockeford (1993)and Waterloo (1978) <br /> California Quadrangles,the elevation of the site is between 85 and 90 feet above mean sea level <br /> Responsive■ Resourceful ■ Reliable 3 <br />
