Soil Suitability Nitrate Loading Study 1 frracon
Recreation Vehicle Service Facility iii Lockeford, CA
April 12, 2017■ Terracon Project No. NA177006
Table 1.
Summary of Site Permits
Number Type Date Age of System Permit Number
(Years)
1 Septic Repair 04/08/1993 24+ 93-0602
1 Well/Pump 06/27/1994 23 3550
1 Well/Pump 02/27/17 N/A SR0076861
1 Onsite 03/01/2017 N/A SR0076866
Wastewater
Based on a review of permits provided by the EHD, one septic repair permit was issued in the
year 1993 for a 3,200 SF two chambered septic tank, four 50 foot long leach lines, and four 25 011 2/ 3._3
feet deep by 4 feet wide seepage pits. A groundwater well is located near the southwest corner
of the existing garage. Copies of the permits are located in Appendix C.
1.3.3 Discussion of On-Site Septic Tank Repair
Refer to Section 1.3.2.
1.3.4 Existing Septic Tank Usage in the Vicinity
In an attempt to determine the septic system density for the vicinity of the site, our office reviewed
a recent aerial photograph of the property available from GoogleEarthT^". Based on a review of
the EHD septic permits, the site is equipped with one septic system. The vicinity of the site `
consists of agricultural land, rural residences, and industrial facilities. The assumption was made
that each building/cluster of buildings has one septic system. Using this method, we determined
there is an average of twenty septic systems located within one half mile of the site.
1.3.5 Septic Permit History in the Vicinity
Septic permits on file with the EHD were requested for the adjoining properties surrounding the
site. The following table is a summary of septic permits for properties in the vicinity of the site:
Table 2.
Summary of Adjoining Property Septic Permits.
Leach LeachSeepage Pit
Tank Size Line
Address Date Permit Type (Gallons) Line Length (Quantity,
Quantity Depth, Size)
(Feet)
11921 E.
