Other requirements may also apply. These requirements cannot be <br /> modified. <br /> Environmental Health Department requires a soil suitability/nitrate loading study <br /> incorporating the proposed number of birds, indicating that the area is suitable for septic <br /> tank usage. This must be performed prior to issuance of building permits (San Joaquin <br /> County Development Title, Section 9-1105.2(d)). A nitrate loading study is required, and a <br /> review fee of$465.00 must be paid at time of submittal to Environmental Health <br /> f Department. <br /> F The sewage disposal system shall comply with the on site sewage standards of San Joaquin <br /> County prior to approval. A percolation test that meets absorption rates of the manual of <br /> septic tank practice or E.P.A. Design Manual for onsite wastewater treatment and disposal <br /> system is required for each parcel. A permit fee of$93.00 per percolation hole is required. <br /> B. The number of animals/birds per acre shall be consistent with appropriate waste <br /> management practices. A manure management plan shall be submitted for approval to the <br /> Environmental Health Department. A review fee of$186.00 is applicable at the time of <br /> submittal. Compliance with San Joaquin County Development Title 5, and the California <br /> Code of Regulations, Title 23, Division 3,Chapter 15,Article 6 shall be addressed in the <br /> 1 manure management plan <br /> F <br /> NOTE: Should the applicant propose composting, a permit to conduct composting is required <br /> from the Environmental Health Department per the California Code of Regulations, Title <br /> j 14. <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br />
