The exact location is
shown on the Site Plan (Plate 2B). Mr. Rodney Estrada of the San Joaquin County Environmental
Health Department was contacted to determine whether a percolation test was required on each
parcel as noted in the EHD Conditions of Approval. Mr. Estrada said that one percolation test
would be sufficient.
FX6.3 Boring Preparation and Presaturation
1 The soil boring was excavated usinga truck mounted Deep Rock drilling rig with a solid four inch
' , diameter auger on December 19, 2005.
I
A 1.5-inch diameter PVC pipe with perforations on the bottom was used to measure the drop of
F'
water in the percolation test boring. The PVC pipe was placed on the excavated gravel surface and
Fpea gravel was placed within the annular space of the pipe and boring side wall.
v Presaturation of the percolation test hole occurred on December 19, 2005. The depth of water used
to pre-soak was 12 inches above the bottom of the boring.
6.4 Condition of Borings After Presaturation
After the 24-hour soak period, the presaturated hole was found to be intact and containing
F* "presaturation water" on December 20, 2005.
F
i
F I i
F
F
10
