I. What is the proposed subsequent use for the reclaimed mined land (e. .,
recreation, wildlife habit4 grazing; open space, etc.) -- Subsequent use of
the land is proposed to be'the same as its present use, that is, grassland for
cattle grazing:
2. Evidence that ovine s .'of a ossesso interest includiri "surface riis
have been notified of the ro sed use or p2`tential uses after reclamation. --
Authorization signatures on the .second' page of the quarry excavation
application form are evidence that the landowners have been notified.
{ B. Reclamation Schedule
1. Provide a time schedule that will ensure reclamation at the earliest possible
time on those portions of the mined lands that will not be subject to further
disturbance. — Reclamation Will.be: concurrent with mining to the extent
possible. For example, when mining is completed in Phase I (a and b),
mining will commence in Phase II (a, b, and c). While mining is occurring
in Phase II, Phase I will be reclaimed to rolling grassland by respreading
overburden to be used as suitable plant growth materials. When mining is
completed in Phase Il, mining will commence in Phase III (a and b) and
reclamation will be completed in Phase II. Reclamation in each phase will
be ongoing to the extent possible. That is, as areas are mined out,
overburden will be respread to achieve post mining contours. However,
reclamation in any phase cannot be completed until after mining is
completed in that phase.
2. Provide a mapof the proposed phases of reclamation and the corresponding
acres a and dates for completion of each phase see Reclamation Site Plan),
—This information is provided on Exhibit II, Phase/Topo Map.
i
3. If reclamation will not be concurrent with mining, ex Iain why —
Reclamation will be concurrent with raining as described under section
III.B.1 above.
C. Post Mining Topography:
1. Provide a map of Proposed post-reclamation tonography_ show drainage
pian, benches, roads, plantings, and _other pertinent features of the
j reclamation see Reclamation Site Plan). - Post mining cross sections are
shown on Exhibit V1, with cross section locations shown on Exhibit V. A
post mining topography map is provided as Exhibit VII.
2. Attach cross sections through slopes, cuts and fills' show original Ugund,
post-mining surface underl3jng geologic conditions and reclaimed surface
see Reclamation Site Plan). -- These cross sections are shown on Exhibit
Distribution Copy Page 11 of 14 August Z 2006
