1 t <br /> a. No excavation may be permitted into the ground water table <br /> without approval from the Regional Water Quality Control <br /> Board, Central Valley. <br /> b. Material from the excavation shall not be deposited into <br /> i any water course nor in any way contribute to the pollu- <br /> tion thereof. <br /> c. Provide an approved potable water supply for all <br /> employees. <br /> d. Approved chemical toilets shall be provided for all <br /> employees. Toilets must be maintained in a clean and <br /> sanitary manner. <br /> e. Handwashing facilities must be provided on or near the <br /> k approved chemical toilets . <br /> 21. East Bay Municipal District: <br /> a. Requests for encroachment rights on EBMUD' s right-of-way <br /> or for other uses shall be directed to the Manager of <br /> Water Production Division at our Stockton office address, <br /> P. O. Box 228 , Stockton, CA 95201. <br /> b. The longitudinal roadway paralleling the aqueducts will <br /> not beermi - <br /> p tied on EBMUD s right-of-way in fee. <br /> c. Road crossings constructed across the District' s right-of- <br /> way shall incorporate protection of the aqueducts . <br /> Protective measures will be designed by the District. <br /> d. The applicant must agree to pay the District for the <br /> design of the protective measures. <br /> e. The applicant must install the protective measure at his <br /> own expense. <br /> f . Any equipment or truck traffic must cross the aqueduct at <br /> the protected crossing. <br /> 22 . The applicant shall retain a registered civil engineer to <br /> submit a Certification of Compliance for the approval of the <br /> Planning Division. The Certification shall include certified <br /> findings by the engineer that the final elevations and slopes <br /> comply with those approved under this permit and that the <br /> excavated site has been rehabilitated in compliance with the <br /> revegetation plan approved by the Soil Conservation Service. <br /> The applicant shall maintain a valid surety bond at all times ' <br /> prior to the date on which he is notified by the Planning <br /> Division that the Certification has been approved. <br /> 23 .
