4.0 GROUNDWATER INFORMATION SECTION: F14.1 Description of the depth and gradient of roundwater in the general area: The depth to ground water in this area is approximate) 5 feet ccording to the map of"Lines of Equal Depth to Groundwater" published Spring, 1999, a San Joaquin County Flood Control and Water F. Conservation District. 4.2 Description/Discussion of any existing and/or potential groundwater contamination issues Fin the general location of the site:. The concerns for groundwater contamination in this area are deemed moderate due to the depths involved. Insecticides,pesticides, and fertilizers typicall�D ndt' pact groundwater at these depths, however, as with any agricultural area, there is always potential for contamination due to chemicals used in the farming operation. 4.3 Description of location, type and construction of well and location where water sample(s) F, were obtained: Water samplesew re en m a spigot at the well located at 18112 S. Brennan Avenue on October 10, 2010 by M-e Toy of Dillon& Murphy.,-- F4.4 Description of constit�ts being tested for in the water sample: The water samples are being tested for nitrates-aiid DBCP. 1. . 4.5 Description of how sample was obtained, handled, stored, and transported to the lab: The water samples were obtained from the spigot at the well located at 18112 S. Brennan Avenue. The samples were taken by Mike Toy of Dillon& Murphy, and driven directly to Precision Enviro-Tech. The samples were taken and handled in accordance with Precision Enviro-Tech requirements. (See Appendix for test results). 4.6 Complete Chain of Custody document, including printed and signed name of third party sampler, condition of sample and date and time the sample was submitted to the lab. For Laboratory samplers, complete laboratory report to include the above noted information: The complete chain of custody document is located in the Appendix. 5.0 SOIL PROFILE INFORMATION SECTION: 5.1 Site map showing location,with dimensions, of the soil profile pit on the parcel: (See FAppendix.) 5.2 Description of soil profile pit including depth and dimensions: The shallow test holes were prepared per County Standards. The holes were excavated to a depth of 42 inches and 8 inches in diameter. They were backfilled with 2 inches of"pea gravel." 1 5.3 Description of soil lithology as noted from test pit by appropriate professional using industry standard protocol: The soils in this area is classified as Delhi Loamy Sand and Vertitas Fine Sandy Loam as stated in the Soil Survey of San Joaquin County, California as provided by the United States Department of Agriculture, Soil Conservation Service.
