5.4 Discussion of soil lithology as related to future onsite septic uses: The Delhi Loamy Sand
and Veritas Fine Sandy Loam have moderately rapid to rapid permeability thus; percolation rates
were 13 to 16 min/in. (Se ppendi
6.0 PERCOLATION TEST INFORMATION SECTION
6.1 Site Map g Showin the location, with concise and accurate dimensions of the percolation
, test holes on the parcel: (See Appendix.)
6.2 The Minimum Number of,Shallow and Deep Percolation Tests was Performed for Each
Parcel: Two shallow percolation test holes were prepared, one on each proposed parcel.
L1
6.3 Description of the Date, Time and Protocol Used to Prepare the Test Hole, Including
Depth and Dimensions of Hole, Preparation of Hole, and Depth of Water Used to Presoak
k ; (Minimum 12 Inches): The shallow test holes were excavated to a depth of 42 inches and
8 inches in diameter and backfilled with 2 inches of pea gravel" in accordance with County
Standards. The shallow holes were prepared by Mike Toy at 7:30 a.m. On October 11, 2010 at
7:30 a.m. the 24 hour presoak period was started. The holes were filled with 12 inches
of water over the gravel at this time.
6.4 Description of the Date,Time and Condition of the Test Hole After the 24-Hour Soak
Period (Hole Still Intact, Hole Dry, Depth to Water Remaining in Hole,Etc.): On
October 11, 2010 at 7:30 a.m. the two shallow test holes were dry. Six inches of water was
added to the holes and the holes were deemed suitable to continue. The shallow tests passed theme
minimum County-requArements.
6.5 The Test Conformed to San Joaquin County Policy EHD 02-02 (Correct Depth, diameter,
2" gravel,6" Water Refill, Correct Readings Recorded): The percolation tests conformed to
San Joaquin County Policy ELID_02-02..
G ,
6.6 Complete Percolation Test Form (Including Readings) Was Provided With REHS
Verification Signature.
