Horizon Tower is backed by Duff, Ackerman
& Goodrich, ("DAG"), a San Francisco based Private Equity fin that has substantial experience in the
wireless telecommunications industry. We are working to enhance our coverage and network
capabilities in the southwest Stockton area_ The above mentioned location is currently one of our
client's troubled areas due to a hole in their network, leading to dropped calls and a lack of service in
this area. The proposed installation will allow for multiple carriers to provide coverage to this area of
Stockton along I-5 and for future coverage of the southern portion of a planned development area at
Howard road. Horizon MTG is requesting a conditional use to install a wireless communications
facility at APN: 193-340-21. The proposed tower would stand at 120' in height with antennas to be
mounted at a RAD centers of 117', 107', 97', and 87', for an overall height not to exceed 120ft.
The addition of antennas to the tower, will be one (1) array of twelve (12)proposed (4
antenna per sector with 3 sectors). There will be an additional three (3) future array of antenna at 107ft,
97ft and 87ft, each will be 12 antennas (4 antennas per sector/3 sectors). The equipment cabinets are
four (4)proposed on a 8 x10 concrete pad. There will be twelve (12) future cabinets on three future
concrete equipment pads in the lease compound. These cabinets will sit on the concrete slabs and will
be connected to the tower by coax cables through the center of the tower and up to the antennas. The
cabinets will be screened from view and enclosed behind a 6' chain link fence and gate with slats.
Construction time of this site will be approximately two weeks and will be coordinated with the
affected parties. During construction and testing, a small microwave dish may be required until such
time as the local telephone provider installs permanent service. After, the initial construction phase, the
site will be visited and maintained by a technician on a once per month basis. These visitations
typically take place during the night hours to minimize impact to aur network. This limited amount of
traffic to the site should not affect the traffic patterns in the area. The proposed project will not utilize
any connection to any water system, refuse collection, or sewer system. The development would not
normally involve any police or fire response to calls for service. The development will not affect any
traffic flow patterns.
The communications site does not emit any odor, dust, gas noise, vibration, smoke, heat or
glare. The Radio Frequency (RF) Emissions from this site are well within the FCC guidelines for a
wireless PCS communications site.
Contact Person: Rick DaCruz— 209-992-1053 or Barry DaCruz 209-992-1134
