Horizon-MTG has and does f <br /> make efforts to use existing structures to collocate new proposed facilities when possible. Horizon-MTG has used existing <br /> towers,buildings,and water tanks in the past in the Stockton/Lathrop area.This is beneficial to community and Horizon- <br /> MTG equally. Unfortunately, there are not any collocations opportunities near this project. <br /> In January 2007 a Horizon-MTG Search Ring(CA3011MTG)was issued for the intersection of Wolf Rd and <br /> Bowman Rd in Lathrop. This tower is to provide wireless coverage along the 1-5 and to plan for the future development of <br /> Wolf Road/Howard Rd area of the county.Attached is a plan from the City of Stockton for a future development that would <br /> be provided service from this tower,as well as coverage to 1-5.After a search of the area, no existing structures or towers <br /> for collocation were found in the limited search area of 1/2 mile in either direction. The small search area is due to the close <br /> proximity of other sites that are from 2 to 3 miles away. Please There are no towers or building over 2 stories in the area <br /> identified on page 2 in the upper map. As shown on the lower map on page 2,the aerial map shows open field Ag land with <br /> no possible structures for collocating. <br /> The resulting options for locating a new wireless site for Horizon-MTG were the large Ag parcels in the area(See <br /> Ariel Map on page 2).After review the size and available space at the various parcels in the area,Horizon-MTG was able <br /> to find a suitable parcel and a willing landowner to lease space. <br /> The final location with adequate space for the new wireless site and the ability to keep a distance of the tower M <br /> height or more for the property lines is the proposed site at 401 Briggs Ave. Horizon-MTG has made all efforts to identify <br /> other options for their potential as locations for this new wireless site.With no collocation opportunities in the search area, <br /> We believe that the proposed location is well suited for the proposed project.
