 s
The third source of information used was the Geotracker System maintained by the State
Water Resources Control Board. This System illustrates all underground fuel storage tanks
and leaking underground fuel tanks.
1
The fourth informational gathering method source is the Environmental Questionnaire found . .
in Appendix B. This documents'environmental information from the current owner of the
property, Ms. Leticia Jazmin, as relayed by Ms. Barbara Burk, the previous owner of the
property.
The fifth informational source are the Groundwater Lines of Equal Depth and Equal
Elevation Maps found in Appendix E illustrating groundwater flow to'be in a northerly
direction.
§ 3.2 Description of all past on-site potential and/or known above and below ground sources of
contamination identified at the project site would include'lead paint (due to the ages of the
residential.structures) and asbestos. As referenced, the two residential structures have been
.razed. It is my understanding that interior and exterior paint was removed before
demolition, due to lead. In addition, it is my understanding an asbestos survey was
completed, also prior to demolition.
There is an extremely slight potential of DDT residual insecticide from farming operations
that may have taken place on the property decades ago. However, this is highly improbable
and inconsequential. _
§ 3.3 Description of all current on-site potential and/or known above ground and below ground
sources of contamination identified at the project site include: No sources of current.
contamination. No electrical transformers are on the property. Surrounding transformers
appear to be relatively new, and consequently unlikely to contain polychloride biphenyls
(PCBs). If there was a leak or explosion, it would be the responsibility of the transformer
owner(Pacific Gas and Electric Co.) to mitigate environmental contamination.
§ 3.4 Description of all past off-site potential and/or known above and below ground sources of
contamination identified in the area of the project site that has or_may impact the project site
includes in particular, the RCRA site located at 1131 Bristol Avenue, which is directly east of
the subject property and specified on the Rec-Check document.
This site is referenced as Matt Chapman Trucking and is listed as a hazardous waste
transporter. It is subject to no corrective action. The backyard of this property was reviewed
and found that it would be very difficult to park a large truck in the backyard area.'Ve,
A
,h usgm sorsprTla wao°' F :3. ` owever, it-is possiblC.-hat c'} o i anion
rte. 2 d b _pr sent-j sot sit ct be present oran -of=the"surrounding,properties.
Mr. Doug Wilson of EHD was consulted for any information his Unit may have on this
RCRA site.
