I <br /> DIETZ ENGINEERING AND CONSTRUCTION, INC. <br /> 1 120 HOLLYWOOD AVENUE,SUITE 3,.OAKLAND,CALIFORNIA 94602 <br /> WORK PLAN FOR GROUNDWATER-QUALITY MONITORING WELL <br /> DESTRUCTION <br /> 7500 W. 11th STREET,'-TRACY CA 95304-9305 <br /> San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department Site Code: 1392 <br /> Closure of the groundwater-quality monitoring wells at the 7500 West Eleventh Street in Tracy <br /> will be completed in compliance with the applicable requirements of the San Joaquin County <br /> Well Standards (San Joaquin County Ordinance Code Section 9-1115.6 as amended may 8, <br /> 1993, R-93-307- <br /> The wells to be closed are located as shown on attached Figure 1. <br /> The closures will be effected following the sequentially implemented actions described below. <br /> • A California licensed professional surveyor will mark the location of Monitoring <br /> Well MW-11 the steel cover of which was removed and the site of which was 1_� <br /> covered by bituminous macadam during the widening and re-paving of Chrisman <br /> Road, <br /> • Traffic control plans will be prepared and encroachment permits will b 'rained ,,v <br /> from the San Joaquin County Department ofEnvironmental Health'To permit/ <br /> drilling at the site of Monitoring Wells MW-5, MW-6, MW-8, MW-9, M@l.40, <br /> MW-I I MW-13 and MW-19. <br /> • Applications for well closure permits with, where applicable will be accompanied <br /> by copies of the public right of way encroachment permit will be a made to the <br /> San Joaquin County Department of Environmental Health-, go, j.4 <br /> • At well sites ,. re the ground surface is covered in bituminous macadam or <br /> concrete, w4i-b;6 diamond drilling will be used to remove the surfacing over a <br /> sufficient area and sufficient depth to permit over-drilling of the well casings. . <br /> • Prior to contactors mobilizing to the site to close the wells, the San Joaquin <br /> County Environmental Health Department will be notified so that staff of that <br /> agency can be available to oversee the well closures. <br /> • The well covers and surrounding concrete will be removed from each well head <br /> and the well covers and debris will be temporarily stockpile on site. <br /> TELEPHONE:OAKLAND,CALIFORNIA(`J 10) 336-9118 TRACY, CALIFORNIA(209)832-29 10 <br />
