The soil suitability study <br /> was completed for San Joaquin Environmental Health Department (EHD) requirements. <br /> ' The soil suitability study (SSS) was conducted to determine whether the soils are suitable for use <br /> with a septic system. The study was performed according to the requirements of Section <br /> I 9-1105.2(d) of the San Joaquin County Development. A major element of the field work included <br /> M conducting percolation tests that meet the required absorption rates as required by the San Joaquin <br /> t Environmental Health Department (EHD). <br /> f <br /> In addition to conducting the percolation tests, a review of published soil information,geologic <br /> maps, and ground water information was performed to evaluate the suitability of soils for use with a <br /> F, septic system. <br /> The farrnatting of this report has been designed to follow, to the greatest degree possible, <br /> the EHD's Soil Suitability Study Requirements Checklist, dated July 14, 2003. <br /> t <br /> 1.1 Site Description <br /> i <br /> i <br /> The Assessor's Parcel Number (APN) for the Site is 087-220-02& 03. The parcel is approximately <br /> five acres in size (Plate 1). The County application number is PA-06-313 (SA).
