Letter from Edward Cahill, dated January 16, 1988.
21 . This information is I acknowledged and no further comment is
r-- necessary .
22. As stated on page 44 of the Final EIR, the proposed storm
drainage retention ponds would be adequately sized to accommodate
design storm runoff from the project site based on County Design
Criteria and would adequately mitigate the decrease in area
available for percolation. We concur that use of septic tank
systems for each parcel could potentially have an adverse impact
on the groundwater quality of adjacent off—site parcels within the
expanded study area . This impact could extend approximately 200
feet beyond the project site boundaries, depending on groundwater
migration and soil conditions. This information has been included
- in the Final EIR on page 44 . The mitigations provided in the
Final EIR relating to the requirement for percolation tests at
each septic system site and increasing lot sizes to a minimum of
x two acres are expected to adequately mitigate this potential
impact.
23. This information is acknowledged and no further comment is
necessary .
a
r--
r
i
r -
r-
23
