KLEINFELDER
File No. 20-2921-01 A U 6 17 1992
August 11, 1992 ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH
PERM IT/SERVIHS
Mr. Craig Dunn
Income Properties
. 1643 Third Street
Escalon, CA 95320
Subject:. ADDENDUM TO REPORT DATIED W.RCH 25, 1.992
SEPTIC SYSTEM SUITABILITY AND NITRATE WADING STUDY
PROPOSED.TMOR-A-DA-rMEADOWS'SUBDIVISION=ml-I
SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY, CALIFORNIA
Dear Mr. Dunn:
This letter is an addendum to our referenced septic system suitability and nitrate loading study
report which was prepared for the subject project.
In a discussion with Mr. James Miller of San Joaquin County Environmental Health Services,
he indicated that the County records show that there have been numerous septic system permits
taken out in the last few years for residences in the site vicinity. He is concerned that this could
indicate a high rate of septic system failures in the area.
As discussed in our report, residents questioned at three of the locations visited during our study
indicated that they had no problems with the performance of their septic systems. On August
10, 1992, a representative of our firm visited the environmental health services office to review
the permit records. Our review revealed that since 1982 there have been permits taken at the
.-following residences in the site vicinity:
* 5045 Foppiano - June 6, 1989, added 100 feet of leach line
* 5327 Foppiano - August 1, 1989, old septic tank destroyed, new tank and new
leach line (70 feet) added
• 6197 Foppiano - 1984, leach line (270 feet) and well installed
• 6257 Foppiano - 1990, well, septic tank, and leach line installed
• 8732 Canepa - October 17, 1986, 40 feet of leach line added
Copyright 1992 KLeinfeLder, Inc.
KLEINFELDER 2825 East Myrtle Street, Stockton, CA 95205 (209) 9484345
