Carrolton Road, Escalon <br /> (APN 205-070-20) <br /> (PA-0700293) <br /> F, <br /> Project No. 607.1 <br /> October 14, 2009 <br /> 4 <br /> (((( 1.0 INTRODUCTION& PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT <br /> �k <br /> J <br /> A parish of the Catholic Church owns the site, which is satellite property, <br /> attached to a larger church complex. The 22-acre parcel is proposed as the site <br /> F, of a new chapel and other future structures, which will be served by septic <br /> systems. The information contained in this report is intended to provide <br /> information required by Section 9-1105 of the San Joaquin County Ordinances, <br /> F in connection with the proposed new septic sewage systems to be constructed on <br /> the site. The study is needed to determine if the onsite soils are adequate to <br /> F, handle effluent from the septic system and whether nitrates from the effluent <br /> might affect the underlying groundwater. The 22-acre parcel is currently the <br /> site of a single residence, with an existing septic sewage system. <br /> t ' The information discussed in this report includes the results of recently <br /> conducted percolation tests, a description of on-site soils, sample analytical <br /> results from the on-site domestic water well and general information regarding <br /> the soil and groundwater from publicly available sources. Calculations are <br /> made to estimate the total nitrate load from septic tank effluent. <br /> F <br /> 1.1 Site Description <br /> The site is a rectangular-shaped parcel with a total area of about 22 acres. It is <br /> j in agricultural use, and according to the County GIS mapping system, is zoned <br /> AG-40. The site is identified by the County assessor as Parcel 205-070-20. The <br /> main church complex is situated at the northwest corner of the intersection of <br /> x Carrolton Road and SR 120 (see maps in Appendix A)- The subject parcel lies at <br /> north end of the church complex, which occupies a total of 5 parcels and <br /> 2937 Veneman Ave_,#B240 Geo-Phase Environmental Inc.
