' A parish of the Catholic Church owns the site which is satellite to property, <br /> attached to a larger church complex. The 22-acre parcel i_sfproposed as the site <br /> — <br /> of a new chapel, which will be served by a septic system. The information <br /> F contained in this report is intended to provide information required by Section 9- <br /> 1105 of the San Joaquin County Ordinances, in connection with the proposed <br /> new septic sewage system to be constructed on the site. The study is needed to ; <br /> determine if the onsite soils are adequate to handle effluent from the septic <br /> system and whether nitrates from the effluent aright affect the underlying <br /> groundwater. The 22-acre parcel is currently the site of a single residence, with <br /> an existing septic sewage system. <br /> The information discussed in this report includes the results of a recently <br /> conducted percolation test, a description of on-site soils, sample analytical <br /> Fresults from the on-site domestic water well and general information regarding <br /> the soil and groundwater from publicly available sources. Calculations are <br /> made to estimate the total nitrate load from septic tank effluent. <br /> h1.1 Site Description <br /> _ <br /> The site is a ectangular-shaped parcel with a total area of abou�2 acres.
