Housing
It is our understanding the applicant has employees who
currently reside at her location. To enlarge the facility
could create the need for additional housing or trailers.
This would alter the aesthetic atmosphere of orchard living.
Not to mention the increase in noise, dust, etc.
Land Use I
We feel this proposal would degrade the quality of the
environment, lower property values and reduce the quality of
orchard living. It would also set a serious precedent for
individuals who decide to stop farming and think up other
uses for their properties. We already have this problem
developing in our .area.
Lastly, there is no mention •in the proposed plan of road
maintenance`. We are ofcourse referring again to the private
road located on the applicants property. She has been
unwilling to contribute any amount for road maintenance and
continues to allow individuals with no easement to drive on
the access road. In closing, we would like to leave you with
a few additional questions. What is the estimated cost of
all improvements in the site plan? Does the applicant have
sufficient funds on deposit to complete this endeavor? What
is the cost of record of surveys, fencing, gates, road
repair, permits etc?
Respectfully your ,
Michael W. McGee
Diane M.
