The manure stockpile is in a fenced area, blocked from public viewing, so as not to offend the sensibilities of those who would not like to view a manure pile. On each and every visit, no flies were visible anywhere near the manure stockpile, and it has been observed to be well maintained, far above acceptable industry standards, and certainly within compliance of the San Joaquin Co. Health Dept. rules and regulations. The manure is removed from the stockpile every seven days or less, land applied,.and tilled in within 24 hours of application (usually within one or two hours of application). It is tilled in to a depth of a 12-inch disk. The manure is removed from the property on at least a semi-monthly basis. �i During the course 6f the daily cleaning of stalls that have a dirt floor, any wet spots are raked through so as to prevent any possibility of any fly breeding opportunities. The wet spots (from urine) are open to air dry and sunlight. Periodically, lime is applied in the stalls as a disinfectant, and fresh dirt is placed over the lime in accordance'Iwith good veterinary practices. { 'California Code of(Regulations, Title 23, Division 3 Chapter 15, Article 6 governs water runoff and rainwater running through manure stockpile areas. This entire acreage is NOT in the 100-year floold plane. It is composed entirely of good sandy loam soil with excellent drainage, and any and all rainwater is contained entirely within the subject property, as all drainage is towards the center of said property. There is no rainwater puddling in the area of the manure stockpile and no opportunity for any rainwater to run through the manure stockpile at all, let alone off subject property. f I
