---------------
Report:Groundwater-quality Monitoring—July 27,2004: 7500 West Eleventh Street, Tracy, CA. Page 17
r: 5.0 FUTURE ROUNDS OF SAMPLING AND ANALYSIS
As currently planned, the next round of groundwater-quality monitoring, floating product
monitoring and testing of water in potable water supply wells is scheduled as described
below.
5.1 Groundwater-quality Monitoring Round
The next groundwater-quality monitoring round at the 7500 West Eleventh Street site is
scheduled for late October 2004. The scope of that sampling round is currently set as
follows.
Measurement of Depth to Groundwater MW-1 through MW-19 (including MW-3A,
in Monitoring WellsMW-3B and MW-12A); MWFP-1 through
MWFP-5
Recovery of Groundwater Samples MW-1 through MW-19 (including MW-3A,
in Monitoring Wells MW-3B and MW-12A)
Each sample of groundwater recovered from a groundwater-quality monitoring well will
be analyzed for TPHd, TPHg, the BTEX compounds and five fuel oxygenates, as cited in
Section 2.4 of this report.
Note:
Prior to analysis for diesel, the aliquot of groundwater used for that test will be
pre-treated with silica gel using the procedure specified by EPA Method 3 63 0.
5.2 LNAPL Monitoring
The thickness of LNAPL floating on groundwater, if any, will be measured at the same
time that the groundwater-quality monitoring wells described above are sampled. The
F. floating product monitoring will be conducted in the well array Monitoring Wells
MWFP-1 through MWFP-5 and groundwater-quality Monitoring Wells MW-7, MW-13
and MW-14.
5.3 Potable Water Supply Wells
The next round of sampling and analysis of groundwater in the designated array of
potable water supply wells near the 7500 West Eleventh Street property is also scheduled
for late October 2004.
{ j
sic
i
