Page 22 <br /> Extended Plume Definition:-7500 W 11th St.,Tracy,CA. <br /> Prior to returning this well to service, SJC's inspector informed the owner of the port <br /> installation error and it was corrected so as to comply with San Joaquin County regulations. <br /> It was found that the head works of the wells at 23150 and 23901 South Chrisman Road were <br /> corroded and in poor mechanical condition and that no sampling port was present. <br /> - Accordingly, SJC repaired the defective head works and installed the requisite sampling <br /> ports. The well at 24195 South Chrisman Road was found to be equipped with a properly- <br /> installed sampling port and the wells at 7601 West Eleventh Street and the Carmelo Business <br /> Park, which had been installed under SJC's oversight,were properly equipped with sampling <br /> ports and are in excellent mechanical condition. <br /> 6.1.2 Recovery and Analysis of Samples from Potable Water Supply Wells <br /> two-da eriod Aril 1-2 2004 a round of water quality monitoring that <br /> Over the y p p q ty <br /> encompassed all of the six wells described above was conducted. <br /> Before the recovery of samples, each well pump was turned on and water was flushed <br /> through the sampling port for a few minutes. Laboratory-supplied glassware, with, as <br /> appropriate, pre-dispensed preservatives was then completely filled with water from the <br /> sampling port. When full, the glassware was tightly closed, labeled for identification, and <br /> transported,within 12 hours, to STL's laboratory in Pleasanton, California. <br /> Each water sample was analyzed for the following suite of analytes: <br /> AnaI34 Method of Analysis <br /> Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons EPA Method 8015M <br /> (quantified as Diesel) with pre-treatment by <br /> EPA Method 3630. <br /> Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons EPA Method 8260B <br /> (quantified as Gasoline) <br /> Benzene EPA Method 8260B <br /> Toluene EPA Method 8260B <br /> Ethyl benzene EPA Method 8260B <br /> Total Xylene Isomers EPA Method 8260B <br /> Tertiary-butyl alcohol EPA Method 8260B <br /> r <br /> Methyl-tertiary butyl ether EPA Method 8260B <br /> Di-isopropyl ether EPA_ Method 8260B <br /> sic <br />
