U
review process. If the rezoning is not conditioned to address
our concerns, we are afraid the subdivision map submitted
later will be a "cookie cutter" approach that will adversely
affect our property. We have not read the staff report yet, so
we do not know if these concerns have been addressed in
proposed conditions of approval for the rezoning.
How will the developer mitigate for the loss of prime
agricultural land? The Initial Study lists a dozen different ways
loss of agricultural land could be mitigated. Which of these
specific methods will the developer be required to implement
as a condition of the rezoning? Can mitigation for loss of
agricultural lands and impacts to our property be combined so
that the developer is required to preserve some agricultural
buffer along our property line? What will the developer do to
provide a buffer between the project and other existing
agricultural uses?
How will the project be served with water and sewer service?
The Initial Study says the project will be annexed into CSA 44
and that the district has enough capacity. How much capacity
does the County well have? How will sewage for the new
subdivision be treated and disposed of?
We hope the Planning Commission will take these concerns into
consideration.
Sincerely,
Mark and Gayle Knize
28263 Chrisman Rd.
Tracy, CA 95304
