i <br /> Mr. Van Buren-informed the applicants that he spoke with the California Department of Alcohol <br /> & Drug Program. and that they will be requiring a permit from the applicants. <br /> Mr.Van Buren informed.the applicants that he is still waiting for a comment from the <br /> Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing. <br /> Mr.Van Buren asked the applicants if they would be remodeling inside or outside of the <br /> building, and if they would be adding to any of the structures. Mr. Meredith stated that they <br /> have been remodeling and upgrading the building, but they have not added any new structures. <br /> Mr. Van Buren also stated that he was waiting for another response from the Stockton Unified i <br /> School District. <br /> Mr. Darrow reviewed the Building Departments requirements. Mr. Darrow indicated that there ; <br /> would need to be one-hour firewalls, if necessary, and that the Uniform Building Code is for <br /> R6.2 occupancy. Mr. Sandman of the Stockton Fire Department informed the Committee that <br /> there are sprinklers and one-hour firewalls in place. Mr. Meredith also stated that there was a <br /> fire alarm system in the building. <br /> Mr. Martin asked that Mr. Meredith submit to the Community Development Department the <br /> complete project description for the staff report and public notice. <br /> Mr.Neely reviewed the Department of Public Works requirements.
