CHRISMAN RD, TRACY <br /> E <br /> This is a General Plan Map Amendment and Zone Reclassification to change the General Plan <br /> and Zoning designation of four parcels totaling 19.78-acres from Rural Residential to �I <br /> Residential-Very Low Density. It is anticipated that the underlying project will be a major I� <br /> subdivision. <br /> The project site is located on the west side of Chrisman Road, approximately 1000 feet north of <br /> Linne Road, east of Tracy. � <br /> 0 <br /> This item is tentatively scheduled to be considered by the San Joaquin County Planning <br /> Commission on November 21, 2002. The Community Development Department has reviewed <br /> the proposed General Plan Map Amendment and Zone Reclassification application and will be 'E <br /> recommending approval to the Planning Commission. ; <br /> In order to approve the General Plan Amendment the Board of Supervisors will have to <br /> determine that the internal consistency of the General Plan is maintained in adoption of the M <br /> proposed General Plan Amendment. I' <br /> General Plan Policies <br /> 4 <br /> �t <br /> The General Plan states: "Appropriate in urban communities for large lot development, or within 4 <br /> communities around sensitive natural resources, or on the fringe of urban areas. In the latter <br /> situation, it provides a transition to surrounding rural areas that are not expected to develop <br /> during the planning period." The proposal to redesignate the project site to RNL is consistent ,I. <br /> with the General Plan location criteria.
