Item No . 2 <br /> PC : 3-21-85 <br /> GP-85-8/PD-85-1/S-85-2 <br /> Page 1 <br /> REFERRALS AND REPLIES <br /> City of Tracy: <br /> The City of Tracy has reviewed the subject applications for <br /> development of 41 dwelling units on the existing golf course . <br /> It is believed that the proposed development is appropriate, <br /> provided that it is ancillary to the golf and country club <br /> use . <br /> Department of Fish and Game : <br /> Recent wildlife surveys revealed that the State and Federal <br /> Endangered San Joaquin County Kit Fox may use the project <br /> site as a foraging area. To protect the kit fox, protective <br /> measures are recommended (see Conditions of Approval ) . <br /> Tracy Public Schools : <br /> It is their opinion that this development could generate seven <br /> (7) new students to an already overcrowded high school . <br /> Jefferson School District : <br /> The Board of Trustees of the Jefferson School District is <br /> working with Mr . Dan Schack in finding a solution to any <br /> problems of impaction in his application for a Residential <br /> Development at the Tracy Golf Course . They are at this time <br /> considering a unit developer fee agreement for school housing <br /> but have not finalized that agreement . <br /> Local Health District : <br /> a. The water system will have to meet bacterial and chemical <br /> standards required by Title 22 , California Administrative <br /> Code, as it pertains to public water systems. It is <br /> recommended that a test hole be drilled to ascertain <br /> quality of the ground water before drilling new wells . _ <br /> b. Submit plans to the Health District for approval of the <br /> proposed swimming pool . <br /> c . All garbage and trash must be removed at least once per <br /> week by a franchise hauler . <br /> (Also, see Conditions of Approval . ) <br />
