A maximum of soil samples are antfciRated to be <br /> collected. <br /> John P. Cummings and Associates (JPCA) , as stated in the workplan <br /> Submitted, (copy enclosed) intends to collect soil samples at <br /> each five foot intervals into the water bearing zone. Based on <br /> previous work at the site, groundwater is anticipated to be <br /> encountered at approximately 8 feet below grade. We expect to <br /> collect 2 soil samples in each boring, one at 5 feet below grade <br /> and a second in the capillary zone, for a total of 6 samples. <br /> The lowest soil sample from each boring will be collected in the <br /> capillary fringe If, in fact, the first groundwater zone is <br /> 1 <br />
