greater than 10 feet below grade, JPCA will collect samples at 15
feet below grade.
I have contacted several State Certified laboratories
specifically NTEC in Sunnyvale, CA; McCampbell in Pacheco, Ca;
Forensic Analytical in Hayward and Clayton in Pleasanton, CA.
NTEC and Forensic Analytical do not run the additional compounds
you requested at this time. Both McCampbell and Clayton have
stated that EPA Protocol 8260 for methanol is not a viable
option. The carrier in the column is methanol. I have enclosed
McCampbell's reporting limits with this letter.
I believe that I understood that the additional compounds
requested in the paragraph of your letter were based on a
directive from the State Water Board. I have been unable to
'aa T p thisdirective from the Water Board or my usual
sources Ydu cMfd -send -me a copy or a reference- for that
directive, it would be most helpful.
Thank you for your help in this matter,
Sincerely,
?ohnCummings Ph . , REA, CHMM
EDMONT LUMBER
Enclosures
2
i
