This
indicates that a registered UST has not been located on the site.
An internal PHS/EHD file search was conducted for the subject property site. A file for the
subject site was obtained during the file search. A review of the file for the site was conducted by
Smith Environmental personnel. The file contained information regarding the San Joaquin County
business license application for the site. On the application, Mila S. Padilla was listed as the
owner of the site, the type of business was autowrecking, and site was designated as a small
generator of hazardous waste such as waste oil, gasoline and antifreeze. The estimated volume of
waste oil to be generated was 50 gallons every 90 days with storage on-site in drums on the west
side of the cinderblock building.
Requests were made of the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, Office of the
State Fire Marshal, concerning the possible locations of petroleum pipelines near the site, and any
reported leaks from pipelines in the area. Initial information indicates that no petroleum pipelines
are within a quarter-mile of the site. However, additional information was not available at the
time of this report.
5.4 Results of Aerial Photography Inspection
Aerial photographs dated May 1940, October 1952, June 1963, November 1975, and 1983 were
researched at the office of San Joaquin County, Department of Public Works• The photographs in
general exhibited numerous changes in configuration and land use of the site since 1940, the
earliest aerial photograph available for review.
wA967301ph1rpt.doc 7
;RE-FH
M 0
